Alex Alex is new on staff this year and is looking forward to working in the barn. She is a student at General McLane and attended MMTC as a camper for three years. She also enjoys music, snowboarding, and basketball. Her favorite verse is Matthew 2:14.
Aimee Aimee started as a canoeing instructor in 2009 when her friends invited her to help out at camp. We are glad to have her back working in canoeing and BTB. She says that being on staff has helped her to meet new people and heighten her faith. She goes to Seneca High School and is involved with the Marching Band, Acting, and Stage Crew. She enjoys reading, crocheting, and shopping. Her favorite verses are Philippians 4:6 and 1 Peter 5:7.

Ashley Ashley is a student at General McLane who came onto staff last year in the Young Explorers program. She says that being part of the team here has made her spiritual life grow stronger. She is also invoved in soccer, band, and chorus. Her favorite verse is Philippians 4:6.
Beans Beans came on staff 5 years ago in the Young Explorer’s program. He enjoys working with young children and is an elementary education major at Mercyhurst Northeast. Beans is also a valuable member of the Beyond the Blue program. He says being a part of the MMTC team has led to a stronger more meaningful relationship with Christ. He also takes time out of his busy school schedule to help out a neighbor with his farm. His favorite verse is Romans 10:9

Brandon Brandon first came to Mystic Mountain as a camper. He took a year off and then came back as a teen volunteer in the canoeing and BTB programs. He is a talented senior at Seneca High School and actively involved in the drama and marching band programs. He has been a volunteer at MMTC for 5 years. His favorite verse is Revelation 21:3
Brittany Brittany joined MMTC 7 years ago and has been a canoe instructor in the morning and member of the Beyond the Blue team in the afternoon. Brittany has directed this team since 2007. As well as loving to sing, she is an extremely talented writer and wrote the BTB curiculum for 2008 and 2010. She is currently enrolled in the nursing program at Edinboro University. Carolyn Carolyn is a homeschooler who has a passion for young kids, so she is a perfect fit in the Young Explorers program. As well as leading a Bible study and playing in her youth group's band, she loves music, snowboarding, and skiing. David David is a student at General McLane and is new on staff this year. He enjoys all kinds of outdoor sports, camping, youthgroup, and is looking forward to helping out in the canoeing program. Heather Heather is a student at Erie First Christian Academy, and has been a phenominal asset to the Young Explorers program. She also plays piano and soccer, and ejoys reading and photography. "I've really enjoyed being on staff and working with the kids. I've learned so much. Being here has brought me closer to God and His glory. It truely is a fun experience." Jennie Jennie is a student at Churchville-Chili High School. For the past 5 years she has been phenominal asset to both the Young Explorers and BTB. She also loves to sing, dance, and act. "Being on the MMTC staff has brought me closer to God as I surrounded myself with His glory and others who recognize His powers. If it wasn't for this camp I don't know where I would be in my life. Joe Joe came onto staff 5 years ago because his family are friends with the Olczak family, so as he puts it "there was no escape from the vortex." Joe is an intrical part of the archery and creative connections teams. He enjoys biking, paintball, youth group, and hanging out with his girlfriend Carolyn. Being a staff member has helped him to grow in his maturity and leadership skills. His favorite verse is Matthew 6:34.

Josh Josh is a homeshooler with a dramatic vision. Last year he had an idea about creating a ropes course to use in team building and leadership training, which he approached Denise about. The idea was a great one and it has since blossomed into the new Fifth Discipline, which Josh is heading up. He says that being a part of the MMTC team has helped to deepen the roots of his faith. His favorite verse is Psalm 112:7-8.
Julia Julia is a student at Walnut Creek Middle School and is new on staff this year. She loves reading, drawing, and just hanging out at the library. She says that Mystic Mountain gave her a ways to serve Christ during the summer. Her favorite verse in Luke 2:52.

Katelyn Katelyn is a student at Fort LeBoeuf and came to camp because she knew Denise and got sucked into "the vortex." She is now a dynamic part of the Young Explorers team. She enjoys reading, music, texting, and youth group. She says that being on staff has helped her to become a stronger person.
Kristen Kristen is a diligent college student at Pitt Bradford, studying in a nursing program. She began working as a volunteer in 2006 when we kicked off the new Young Explorer’s summer day camp for 5-7 year olds. She loves working with children and working for the Lord. Marissa Marissa is from the Albion area and is an Edinboro University student. She began as a camper in 2001 and joined the teen volunteer staff program in 2002. Her passions lie in the equestrian program. For several years she headed up the barn class program and then decided to become an instructor in the arena.

Mark Mark came to camp as a camper for several years and has been a teen volunteer since 2006. Mark has been involved in the air rifle program for a couple of years and in 2008 he became head teen instructor. He enjoys archery, soccer, hunting, and music. Michelle Michelle has been a part of the equestrian program for many years and has headed it up for the past three years. She is a student at Hocking College studying Nursing with a minor in horsemanship. She loves horses and team penning. She also enjoys traveling, camping, swimming, and reading.

Noah Noah came to camp several years as a camper before he came on staff in 2007. He is a homeschooler and has been trying out the different departments to see where he fits best. In 2007 he was a canoe instructor and then moved in 2008 into the barn equestrian program. He enjoys reading, video games, and sword fighting. He says that the staff of MMTC is full of people to inspire you toward God and to help you with hard decisions. His favorite verse is Romans 3:23.

Rachael S. Rachael has been part of the Mystic Mountain team for 9 years, and has been an intrical part of the photography team the past two years. She is a student at Edinboro University studying to be a high school social studies teacher. She loves photography, reading, and music. Rachel N. Rachel is a homeshooler who came on staff last year in the horse program. Rachel is an amazing dancer who specializes in Irish dancing and ballet. Sammy Sammy is a student at Fort LeBoeuf High School who came as a camper for two years then came on staff at 13 because she knew "this was the place for me." Sammy has been involved as an equestrian instructor and also a member of the BTB team. She enjoys reading and riding horses. Spencer Spencer came to camp for several years as a camper before coming onto staff 3 years ago. He serves in the air rifle program and as a member of the BTB staff. He is a student at Harborcreek High School where he is involved in football, wrestling, and track. He also enjoys shooting, living, and eating. Sela Sela is a student at General McLane Middle School and is new on staff this year. "I was a camper for 2 years and I know that I have to act on my best behavior because the other kids will see that and they will act like that too." She also enjoys band and cross country.
