What kind of programs does MMTC offer? We offer a wide range of programs for children as well as adults. For a complete list of activities for youth, see our Camps and Programs page. For adult sessions, visit Workshops and Seminars.
How do I or my child get involved by volunteering? Our organization operates through assistance of a wide range of volunteers. If you or your child would like to volunteer your time simply contact the business office by phone or email. See our list of volunteering ideas. In addition to volunteer support, there are other ways you can assist, such as In-kind Support or Sponsoring a Horse.
Can we visit Mystic Mountain for a tour? We would love for you to come to visit MMTC. We are open to the public by appointment only. Please feel free to call our business office or email us to schedule a visit. You can also view our video about MMTC.
What are the general hours of operation and seasons? MMTC is typically open from late Spring to late Fall. However, we offer workshops, classes and seminars throughout the year. We also hold youth day camp and other programs in the summer and fall. Likewise, we host school trips and excusions for clubs throughout the year such as boy and girl scouts, church youth groups and birthdays or other types of parties.
Do your camp programs include overnight accommodations? MMTC does have sleeping facilities and hosts overnight stays for our campers or guests. Day campers, however, do not stay overnight. For information on day camp details click here.
How Did Mystic Mountain Training Center (MMTC) get started? Denise and Bill Olczak are the owners and operators of Mystic Mountain Training Center, having purchased the property in 1981. Is MMTC a religious organization? MMTC is a faithbased, Christian organization, not affiliated with any particular church or denomination. We focus on assisting children to find healing for their wounded spirit and hope for the future, while providing an environment where they can experience positive life changing memories that will prepare them for their future. We reach out to everyone as we help to build stronger and healthier communities, and enjoy the many wonders of God's nature around us.
